Vilka

Vilka live in the foothills of heavily forested mountain ranges. They prefer to be alone, only dwelling with their immediate cubs and mate. Males tend to be larger, growing to two-thirds the size of a large herd animal. They are more aggressive and attack unprovoked.

Their medium length fur keeps them warm through the cold months, but cool enough in warmer weather. You can find them with gray, brown, and sometimes red-like fur. They hunt alone and prey upon the weak, particularly during storms and in the cover of night.
